What size is it really?

Just like any other jewelry business we get asked a lot of questions.  One of the most asked is Millimeters to Inches. I can admit it can be confusing and fear of the unknown, in this case size, sends people running out of fear.

But before you dash onto the next google search, spend a few moments and learn a few things and I promise it will all make sense and as a reward - we are skipping lengthy details and I'm providing two charts to help you navigate your online shopping experience so it is fun.

Here we go…

Rule 1. 1 millimeter equals 0.0393701 inches so one inch is the same length as 25.4 millimeters.

In simple terms, it amounts to:

Rule 2. 1 inch/25.4 mm = 25.4mm/25.4mm = 1in/1in.

Now wasn't that simple? Two things to know but I am betting some of you are quite taken aback so print out this blog, cut out the tables and place them where you can easily reach them.

In the event you are unsure how large or small something is you can pull out your chart and have the answers without giving yourself a headache.

Here's the first table I promised.
